How To - Change Your Laptop/Email Password

Important:

• Passwords should only be changed when connected to a district WiFi network. Please avoid changing your password when off-site.

Password Requirements:

• Must be at least 14 characters long.
• Must include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Cannot contain any part of your name.
• Avoid commonly used words like "password".
• Must not be a repeat of any previously used passwords.

Steps to Change Your Password:

1. Log in to your district laptop or desktop.
2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard.
3. Select Change a password from the options.
4. In the first field, enter your current password.
5. In the next two fields, enter your new password.
6. Click the arrow button or press Enter to confirm the change.

Your password will now be updated for both your Windows device and Google accounts.
