Position the Camera: Hold the base of the document camera with one hand while lifting the arm with the other. Adjust and position the camera head directly above your intended display/projection area.
Power Connections:
Connect the AC power adapter cable to the power port on the back/side of the ELPDC21 document camera.
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet or surge protector.
Ensure the projector is also plugged in and connected to its power source.
Connect VGA Cable:
Plug one end of the standard VGA cable into the VGA Out (or VGA Output) port on the ELPDC21 document camera.
Plug the opposite end of the VGA cable into the VGA slot located on the wall mount port for the projector.
Secure the Screws: Tighten the thumb screws on both ends of the VGA connectors to prevent loose connection issues or signal drops.
Turn on the Document Camera: Press the Power button on the document camera control panel. The power LED light around the button will turn solid blue.
Note: It takes roughly 15 seconds for the camera to start outputting a signal after powering on.
Turn on the Projector: Press the Power button on the projector or its remote control.
Select the Projector Input:
On the projector remote or control panel, press the Source or Source Search button.
Select the VGA/Computer input port where you plugged in the cable (e.g., Computer 1 or VGA).
Select Camera Output (If Needed): On the document cameras' control panel, make sure the Source is set to display the camera feed rather than a connected pass-through PC.
Place Document: Position your paper or object under the camera head.
Light Switch: Slide the LED light switch on the camera head IF illumination is needed.
Focus: Press the Focus / Auto Focus button on the document camera to sharpen the image automatically.
Zoom: Use the Zoom wheel or buttons on the camera to scale the document properly on the projected screen.
